About Me
My name is Isabella Blair. I am a freshman at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and am planning on majoring in Environmental Studies. I grew up on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii. Since I was little, I have had a passion for the outdoors. Camping trips with my dad in the giant Sequoia and Redwood forests of California as a young girl sparked my love for nature. At the age of seven, I had decided that I would become a national park ranger. Eleven years later, I have found myself at Lewis & Clark, embarking on my educational journey towards my goal of making a difference for the environment that I have loved all my life. In high school, I co-directed several TEDxYouth events, and I was a part of the student committee behind the March For Our Lives Maui. I like to spend my weekends going on outdoor trips with my college and exploring Portland. I love astronomy, and I can often be seen outside at night looking at the stars (when it isn’t cloudy in Portland).
